Artsreach Event
Pentabus Theatre with 'The Tale of Little Bevan'

Tickets: Adults £9.00, U18 £6.00, Family £25 from Deb Childs, village shop or online.

Bar, Tea/Coffee and Cakes available

The Tale of Little Bevan:

"It was a full moon so I suppose we should've known. Nothing good happens on a full moon. Well, not in our village".

He came one night. No-one could really remember quite when or from where. He just had so many stories you see. We forgot to ask for the details.

'The Tale of Little Bevan' is a new play by award-winning writer Robert Alan Evans, made in collaboration with village hall promoters and rural communities. With live music and original songs, this darkly comic fairytale from this award-winning theatre company will make you question what community really means. Those who saw 'Crossings' last autumn will know just what an outstanding theatre company Pentabus is.

This is open to everyone who lives in the village, male or female, as long as they are over 18

We can use the bar on the left of the entrance as usually quiet

Shed Talk
Sharing food ...... talking together ..... learning Jesus

Shed Talk is a group of men who meet weekly on
Wednesdays at 7.15pm at the Fox Inn, Corscombe.

We discuss various issues of the day over a pint and a light meal. The topics are varied and range from male characters in the bible to current issues, such as the problems faced with re-housing the influx of migrants. There is no fixed agenda and any item is up for discussion.

Whether you are a regular church- goer, or just on the fringe or merely interested, you are more than welcome to come along and join us. If you would like more information or to book a place, contact Andrew Tomkins - 01935 891083

In part the name dervies from a radio programme. ShedTalk is a series of devotional thoughts and discussion programmes by men for men. Hosted by Carl Beech and friends, their aim is to help men get to know Jesus better and bring their friends to faith. Sunday at 9pm on Premier Christian Radio.

(Carl is an Elim minister and heads up Christian Vision for Men (CVM), a movementfocussed on evangelising to men)
