Salting of Roads The Parish Council tried to get better salting of local roads and replenishment of the salt bins, but County policy has limited action. County Councillor Robin Legg has been very helpful. We realise that blocked drains cause floods which then freeze. Please report any incidents | ||

Common Lane Please continue to report illegal use of the Lane. The closure continues through teh summer. | ||

Best Kept Village Competition Entries for the two categories: 'best kept' and 'best community village' are invited. Closing date is 31 March. Anyone interested in organising a local effort should contact Martin Manning (Halstock) or Paula Bowles (Corscombe). | ||

Publication Scheme The Parish Couincil has adopted its new publication scheme | ||

Grants to Community Organisations From March the Parish Council invites applications for grants in the financial year 2009-2010. All organisations which have had donations before will be contacted. Any other group within the four parishes should ask the clerk for details. Grants will be considered at teh May Council meeting. | ||
